CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – A New York woman trying to shake off her disappointment over Trump’s victory went hiking to clear her head, and ran into Hillary and Bill Clinton.
Margot Gerster said she took her daughters to her favorite place in Chappaqua, New York. “We were the only ones there and it was so beautiful and relaxing,” Gerster wrote on Facebook. “As we were leaving, I heard a bit of rustling coming towards me and as I stepped into the clearing there she was, Hillary Clinton and Bill with their dogs doing exactly the same thing as I was.”
Gerster said she got to hug Hillary Clinton and told her “one of my proudest moments as a mother was taking Phoebe with me to vote for her.”

After chatting for a few minutes, Bill snapped a photo of Gerster posing with Hillary before they parted ways.

“Now, I’m not one for signs but I think ill definitely take this one,” Gerster wrote. “So proud.”
It’s apparently not the first time Gerster has met the former presidential candidate, she also posed for a photo with Clinton when she was in high school:
