With the Latin Grammys just around the corner, Dallas has hosted — and will continue to host — some of Latin music’s biggest names!

Juanes will be performing at the Latin Grammys November 20 and made a special acoustic session, invite only visit to the Dallas Performance Hall.  Singing all his hits and some of his new music, Juanes had this intimate venue rocking all night!

Often called ‘The Beatles of Mexican Rock Music’ – Café Tacuba made a special visit to Dallas’ South Side Ballroom in celebration of their RE albums’ 20th anniversary and the 25th for the band.  Café treated Dallas to a special concert by playing the RE album live – RE is arguably the band’s most important album, and solely responsible for launching Café to the main stream rock scene. The album’s mixture of genres such as alternative rockpunk, and metal with traditional Latin American styles helped the group develop a dedicated fan base.  With an elaborate light and sound show, various costume changes and often comical interaction from the bands main vocalist, Ruben, fans are already waiting and anticipating an encore show!

Two time Latin Grammy Award winning Chilean rock band, La Ley graced Dallas with a visit for their “Retour”.  After a goodbye tour in 2005, the band decided to go separate ways to pursue personal projects – needless to say, La Ley has returned and in a big way!  House of Blues Dallas was packed to capacity as fans of all ages eagerly waited to see Beto Cuevas, along with the rest, of the band rock the night away!  The band played hit after hit from their 90’s albums and even treated  Dallas to a taste of what the new album will hold.  The eagerly awaited reunion tour (Retour) was well worth the wait and has left Dallas craving another visit soon!
