DALLAS -- The Cowboys couldn't put their 'Arm in Arm' decals on their helmets this year. Nope. That's a no-no in the No Fun League. The Stars, however, were able to open their season with badge decals on the back of their lids to honor the five fallen officers from the July 7 ambush shooting.

Now, though, in true NASCAR style, we're shifting our PD memorials into high gear.

"What happened on July 7 really made it top of mind how much of an opportunity we had to do a better job dignifying, esteeming and really lifting up these amazing men and women that serve our city," said ZAK founder Vic Keller.

So thanks to Dallas-based ZAK Products, the number 83 Toyota's going to Back the Blue at Texas Motor Speedway's AAA 500 in two weeks.

So what's this cruiser going to look like? We won't see until a November 2 reveal, but...

"I will tell you that it's going to resemble a lot of what you see when you look at a Dallas squad car today patrolling our great city," Keller said. "Most people are used to seeing a squad car chase the bad guys. It would be more fun if we could put a light rack up on top of the car and get the guys to get out of the way and let him through, but I don't think that's gonna happen."

Driver Matt DiBenedetto is piloting the Back the Blue Toyota at TMS and said: "It's an honor to represent the men and women of the Dallas Police Department while honoring those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Dallas is home to Zak Products and I love racing at Texas Motor Speedway, the track is great and the fans are amazing. I truly hope that everyone joins us in supporting this cause, let's get #ZakBacksTheBlue trending."

Of course, while the 83 car tries to bring home the top prize, you can do your part too.

Go to the Assist the Officer Foundation website. If you donate $25, write 'ZAK Backs the Blue' in the comments section. Do that, and you'll get a Dallas Police themed ZAK Products t-shirt and be entered to win a pair of VIP pit passes to the November 6 race.

There truly is a lot in it for you when you back the blue.
