How much is your monthly car payment?

Whatever it is, you’re paying even more every month to keep your car on the road. You can blame congestion and bad roads for the added cost.

A new report from a transportation research group “TRIP” says DFW drivers pay an extra $133 every month. That’s more than $1,700 a year per driver because of bad roads!

The report says nearly 1 roadway out of 6 in the state needs to be repaired or updated. Bad roads lead to a lot of expensive repairs.

When you’re sitting in traffic, you’re wasting time and money.

The report blames the feds and state government for not investing enough in our roads.

Could it be they’re counting on toll* to do that job for them?
