Remember that show My Name is Earl? About the guy who isn't so nice but wins the lottery then gets hit by a car and decides to make a list of people he's wronged so he can right those wrongs and thereby fix his karma – yeah, that funny show!
Well, when it was cancelled, it left us on a cliffhanger, so, that got us thinking – what is the cast of My Name is Earl up to these days?
Catalina, the maid-turned love interest played by Nadine Velazquez, has kept super busy since earl starring in movies like Flight and playing the wife of forever-unclean Ruxin on The League.
Earl's wife, Joy, played by Jaime Pressly has been everywhere from I Hate My Teenage Daughter and A Haunted House 2 to Two-And-A-Half Men and Jennifer Falls.
Ethan Suplee, who played Earl's brother Randy, has kept busy in Wilfred, Raising Hope and The Wolf of Wall Street since Earl ended.
And that brings us to Earl himself, Jason Lee. Besides My Name is Earl, you know him from awesome movies like Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Heartbreakers, The Incredibles, Almost Famous and more. Well, since hanging up Earl's handlebar mustache, He's been in a few Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, Up All Night and Memphis Beat.
But his biggest project seems to be the fact he packed up his family and moved from LA to Denton Texas. Where's Denton? Exactly. It's a college town about 40 miles north of Dallas. And why the drastic change? He says he wanted to leave LA so his children could live a more family-focused life.
But this isn't slowing Jason Lee down one bit. Besides guest editing the magazine Monster Children, producing a live concert film in Denton, and throwing a hipster-filled release party for the magazine while playing on stage WITH the band he's been working with...in Denton – he's also starring in the Mallrats sequel, MallBrats. So, yeah. Country life isn't slowing him down.
