ORLANDO — The deadliest mass shooting in American history is being celebrated by notorious anti-LGBT Christian cult Westboro Baptist Church.

At least 50 people were killed in the shooting at the Pulse nightclub, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said Sunday. Another 53 people were hospitalized, the city’s mayor told reporters.

The Orlando nightclub terror shooter was identified as Omar Saddiqui Mateen.

The world has shown an outpouring of love and support for the victims of this horrific tragedy.

During much of the day the hashtag, #LOVEISLOVE was trending on twitter, but the tweets coming from Westboro were very much the anthesis of the sorrowful tweets.

Tweets like, “Seems only right for Sodom America!” and “God opened His armory to deal with proud fag america.” we’re sent out from the account.

According to the church’s tweets, Mateen was sent by God to deal with homosexuality in America.

Westboro members are known for protesting outside events and funerals. Orlando may be their next target.
