DALLAS -- Sometimes in life, we find ourselves stuck between a rock and a hard place. Take for example, the driver of the car who found himself in a slippery situation after cops say he lost control of the wheel and plunged over 50 feet into a creek.

The dramatic rescue was all caught on Dallas PD's body cam.

"We're gonna get you out of there. Come on!"

It was the scene last weekend. Cops found the car upside down and the water was quickly rushing in. All the while, the driver was trapped inside.

In the video, you can see cops use their batons to break the window and pull the guy to safety.

"Back out! Back out! Put your legs straight out and back out."

"Okay, we've got the driver out."

Guess those body cams can capture more than just bad stuff that happens on the streets.

Way to go, DPD. Hey, who says cops aren't good guys?
