ENNIS, Texas -- Do you dream of flames, throwing pipes, the smell of burnt rubber and going 60 mph in less than a second? Well, we're about to make your dreams a reality.

The Professional Drag Racers Association has rolled into the Texas Motorplex for their second annual Texas Nationals, bringing Nitrous Wars, Pro-Extreme Cars, and more along for the ride.

Testing began Thursday. Friday is the qualifying, and Saturday we get to the good stuff -- eliminations.

Talk about an adrenaline rush!

Based in Pittsburgh, North Carolina, the PDRA is the top endorser for the sport of eight mile drag racing. The turbocharged sport of drag racing has been going on for years with a new generation ready to hit the gas.

So grab on to your seats, because this event is going to take you to the edge!
