It’s back! The debate over the backside!

Adrian Peterson carried the ball on this latest chapter. It looks and sounds like he did a bad thing—a bad thing that years ago some thought wasn’t so bad!

You’ve heard the phrase: “time heals all wounds,” but when it comes to what parents can and cannot do to their kids today, this phrase needs an update — “time means no more wounds.”

When I was a kid, I got ‘the belt’ a time or two. It hurt, left a mark and I deserved it!

Today, google ‘parent arrested for spanking’ and you’ll get a bunch of stories like this.

When I was a kid, I had a friend who dropped the f-bomb!  His parents kindly dropped some soap in his mouth. That happens today –mom and dad can wipe away a clean criminal record.

When I was a kid, when friends screwed-up  they went to bed without dinner. They were punished with hard labor on a hot day like digging a hole. Today, an empty stomach and an empty spot in the ground would likely have CPS digging around.

It`s not easy being a strict parent anymore.  Time means ‘no more wounds’ from any of these things  (spank, soap, food, shovel). It seems there’s only one way to keep kids in-line today and that’s to get them offline!
