DALLAS – Everyone wants to know — why was the head of DISD’s Professional Standards Office escorted out and placed on administrative leave?

But no one’s talking.

Jeremy Liebbe, a former cop with DISD Police, is the same guy who led the investigation into the district’s athletic recruiting scandal. That ended with 15 coaches and employees jobless.

Liebbe is also the guy who got to the bottom of the “cheese heroin” drug deaths of two DISD students in 2012.

So what’s going on now with the impressive investigator? Whatever it is, it apparently had nothing to do with the whole athletics scandal.

We reached out to Andre Riley, DISD’s Director of News and Information. He confirms Liebbe is on leave, but says “we do not have additional comment, as this is a personnel matter.”

It looks like somebody investigated the investigator. Guess we’ll have to wait until DISD opens the book on this case.
