DALLAS, TX — Have you filed your taxes yet? If not, chances are, you’re not alone. Remember – the tax deadline is Wednesday, April 15th.

If you’re thinking: I would file, but I have questions about the health care penalties; or I’m confused about deductions — no need to worry.

The folks at United Way are offering free tax preparation for families who earn less than $53,000. IRS certified volunteers help you file that all important government paperwork.

“This is one of 26 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and what we have is volunteers providing free tax preparation services for residents; primarily for residents whose households make $53,000 or less a year,” Greg Mangum with United Way explained.

The best part? They’ll be hosting a Tax Day Fair at Habitat for Humanity on Wednesday – just in time to get your taxes to Uncle Same, right before the deadline.
