FRISCO, TX — The Cowboys officially moved into their new home, The Star, and we got to get a full look at this new facility.
Like you would expect anything built by Jerry Jones to be, The Star is staggering!
It’s a Dallas Cowboys museum, hall of fame, corporate headquarters and top of the line training facility all wrapped into one.
“You know I think every time I turn the corner, there’s like a ‘Wow’ moment for me personally!” said Cowboys Executive Vice President Charlotte Jones-Anderson.
The players get that wow moment, too! Their new cafeteria feels more like a five-star restaurant and the team meeting room looks like an IMAX movie theater.
The new locker room also makes the old digs at Valley Ranch feel like something from a 1A High School.
“Man this is unbelievable. State of the Art,” said tight end, Jason Witten. “First time for me to really see it, so words can’t describe it. It’s an unbelievable facility and I mean it’s the Jones family, it’s what they’re all about.”
“It’s pretty special,” Tony Romo remarked. “I can tell you, walking in, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.”
The biggest question for Cowboys fans, though, is if being surrounded by relics from a glorious past and equipment from the future will help this team put together some wins?
“I think it’s really meant for that,” said Witten. “I think once the season gets here you put all this other stuff behind you and go to work. Everything’s here to make your life easier and give you the best chance to be successful.”
But in true Cowboys fashion, even if the wins don’t come, at least we all know they’ll still doing it in style!
