ebolaTARRANT COUNTY – False alarm. A Tarrant County resident being tested for Ebola does not have the deadly virus.

The Tarrant County Public Health Department announced late Friday that the tests came back negative.

According to the department, the resident sought medical attention for one Ebola symptom. There was an abundance of caution because this person recently returned to North Texas from Liberia.

The resident was tested and treated at an undisclosed local hospital.

Thankfully, the tests came back negative Friday around 8 p.m.
