DALLAS -- Dragging around your overpacked luggage isn't the only thing that can make air travel a drag. The long lines, flight delays and nowhere to plug in your phone or laptop can take the joy out of a getaway but there are a few airports having no trouble keeping a smile on travelers’ faces.

The winners of the airport service quality awards, which rank the happiest airports in the world, have been revealed and at least one local airport is getting some love. Out of all the major airports in North America, Dallas Love Field tied for second in passenger satisfaction just behind first place Indianapolis.

With perks like valet parking, a newly renovated terminal with good food, and a public artwork showcase the headquarters of one of the most successful airlines in the country is also conveniently located smack in the heart of Dallas.

It's no wonder passengers are grinning ear-to-ear. Looks like DFW International could stand to take a few "Love" notes.

But not everybody is in love. There's a reported 171% increase in noise complaints from Dallas residents since the Wright Amendment ended and dozens of flights started taking off from Love Field every day.

By the way, Dallas isn't the only Texas city on the list. Ted for third are Austin and San Antonio. Guess Texas hospitality just travels well.
