GRAND PRAIRIE, TX — Good news! Folks in North Texas won’t have to travel all the way to Colorado to get high. Yep, we’ll only have to travel up the highway to hit the slopes.

That’s right, The Grand Alps first and only indoor snow center in the U.S. is gonna make Grand Prairie its new home.

The 350,000 square foot snow-ski facility will sit right across from the Verizon Theater.

Hard to imagine what it looks like now…

This winter wonderland will include a world-class indoor resort, operated by Hard Rock International surrounded by lots and lots of snow.

Hmmm… wonder how much water will it take to run the million dollar joint?

Hey guys, you do know you’ll have to produce all that freshly made snow in drought stricken North Texas, right?

It takes over 7,000 gallons of water a day to run one of the world’s best indoor ski resorts like in Dubai.

Well, since this year round resort in Texas won’t be ready until early 2018.

That’ll give The Grand Alps time to save up to pay their water bill, and the rest of us time to save up for reservations.
