SALT LAKE CITY, UT- There's a public health crisis going on in Utah right now! It's not Ebola, Zika, or Chikungunya-- it's pornography! Tuesday, Governor Gary Herbert officially declared porn a health hazard.

The resolution was introduced earlier this year, to "battle the pornography epidemic harming the state and the country."

This is the same state that's reportedly trying to yank a liquor license from a Salt Lake City movie theater after they got caught serving alcohol while screening Deadpool. Apparently there's some law in Utah that says booze and boobs don't mix!

Newsfix dug up  some dirt that may surprise you: a Harvard University study puts Utah on top as the state with the most porn consumption! So, it's not hard to understand why state officials are working to keep the growing popularity of porn down.

The new bill SCR9 doesn't ban porn, but it does require computer technicians to report any child pornography found during computer repairs.
