DALLAS — When Jackie O and Kennedy showed up to the shelter, these two siblings were hardly “White House portrait” ready.

“They were almost completely bald. They had a bad case of mange,” says Haley Edman, marketing director for Dallas Pets Alive! “Their owner just couldn’t keep up with their medical bills.”

The bald dog look wasn’t exactly “in Vogue” on the adoption runway, but a little medicine cured the mange.

“Now they look beautiful,” says Edman. “They live up to their famous name.”

Only six months old, this dynamic duo still has plenty of puppy left in them.

“They like to play around, goof off. They love to go swimming,” says Edman. “They just really just love spending time together.”

But if they had to, they could go their separate ways.

“It wouldn’t really bother them that much if they were separated, but it would also be really special if we could get them adopted together,” Edman says.

This is your chance to be Jackie O and Kennedy’s “Camelot.”
