DALLAS - Last week, Ruff Life told you the tale of Sadie, a momma dog looking for love. Well, not only is Sadie still available for adoption, so is her baby boy Scoobert.

“Scoobert is a rambunctious guy,” says Leslie Sans, executive director of Dallas Pets Alive! “He wants to play and have fun. He is a puppy. He's only seven months old.”

Alough he was adopted, that relationship ended up being more of a fling than “fur-ever” love.

“We get a lot of returns that way,” says Sans. “People are just not prepared for what a puppy entails and it is a lot of hard work.”

But Scoobert is ready to move on and wants you to know his perfect match needs plenty of patience to calm his inner puppy.

“Scoobert needs a very patient adopter that's willing to let him trust you,” says Sans. "Once he trusts you, he absolutely falls in love with you.”

For Scoobert, let's make sure that “next” is better than “Ex”
