When Dallas Pets Alive! first met Beau Blue, she was really singing the blues, and heart worms were getting the best of her.

“She was very lethargic in the shelter, the kennel staff had to physically pick her up and move her into the play area because she would not move.

This hound was moving so slow that the shelter had just about given up hope. She was literally at a dead end.

“They deemed her as unadoptable,” says Sans.

Undadoptable?!? DPA said no way!

“Thats what Dallas Pets Alive! does,” says Sans. “We take dogs that are ‘unadoptable’ and makes them totally adoptable.”

Once they got Beau, she started singing a different tune.

“She started acting differently, smiling a little bit,” says Sans. “They were petting and she could just tell that she was being saved.”

Take a look at her now, not only is she moving quick, Beau Blue has learned some new tricks.

“She knows sit, she knows sit pretty, she know how to crawl,” says Sans. “Beau is one of the most beautiful dogs we’ve had in our system. She has multi colored fur she`s beautiful and her personality matches her beautiful skin color.”
