NEW YORK -- You gotta fight, for your right -- to get paid, baby! And that's exactly what Robin Wright did when she found out Kevin Spacey was getting a fatter paycheck than her.
The House of Cards star clearly pulled a Claire Underwood and demanded to be paid equal to Spacey who makes $500,000 per episode on the Netflix hit.
Wright was making $420,000 per episode.
"I was like, 'You better pay me or I'm going to go public,'" Wright said.
Robin Wright says when she made the demand, her character Claire Underwood was more popular than Spacey's character, Frank Underwood.
Well, she took and the powers that be and won.
Wright isn't the only woman in Hollywood standing up for her rights. Actresses like Patricia Arquette, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams are also speaking up for equal pay in Hollywood.
Yet in the real world, the struggle really hits home. Women are still only earning 78-cents on the dollar compared to men.
But as long as women keep playing the equal pay card, maybe they can beat the odds and finally win this game.
