ARLINGTON -- This is Robin Evans' sixth year raising the roof for 13 food pantries in the North Texas area.  She plans on getting 150,000 pounds of donated food by Monday by sitting atop All Saints Lutheran Church.

They're taking money donations to get her down as well. $1 donated is worth 5 lbs. of food. Donations can be made online through the Robin on the Roof Facebook page.

Being a nurse , Robin got the idea seeing parents with their kids making tough life decisions. “They’ve lost their jobs and they’re trying to make a decision whether they put food on the table or they take their medicines and medicines aren’t cheap," she said.

Robin On the Roof has taken off so well other churches are lining up for her to hop on their roof for the cause.
