DALLAS – Oh what a happy day it is. After battling Ebola, contracted from treating Patient Zero – Thomas Eric Duncan – the Presbyterian nurse reunited with Mr. Bentley.

By the looks of it, it feels so good.

The King Charles Spaniel who over the weeks has won hearts all over the nation, was put in isolation after Pham tested positive for Ebola.

"I didn't know what would happen to Bentley, or if he would have the virus,” Pham said.

But good news, Nina doesn’t have to worry about that. Bentley tested negative for Ebola. And after being away for 21-days, it’s bye-bye Hazmat suits – and hello hugs and licks. Even the Mayor got a little love.

So, what’s next for the pair now that they’re in the free and clear?

“I am just excited to take Bentley home, so we can start picking out his gifts for his two year birthday party this month,” Pham said.
