ELO HORIZONTE, BRAZIL – A Brazilian ref wasn’t taking any chances. He pulled out a gun during a local match, claiming players on one team were kicking and slapping him. When the manager started arguing with him, the ref went to his locker and came back with a gun.

He’s a local cop, by the way.

Luckily, no one got shot, but he will get a mental evaluation before he goes back on the job. Let’s hope this isn’t a trend for football refs in this country.
