FRISCO —  It’s now a case of, “put me in coach” for Tony Romo. He’s back on the practice field, ready to play.

“We just have to see where he is,” Cowboy coach Jason Garrett said. “Tony’s practiced four days over the past couple of weeks. He’s been involved in practices in each of those days. We’ll do something similar with him today. He’ll start in individuals today to see how he does. If we can work him some scout team reps, like he did last week that would be a good day for him.

While Romo may be medically cleared to play, Garret won’t say if he’s going to suit up against the Steelers this weekend — even as a back up.

Either way, the Dak attack says he’s good to go and doesn’t worry about a quarterback competition.

“I really don’t think about if I’ve done enough, or what I’ve done,” Dak Prescott said. “I just think about coming in each and every day, working my butt off at practice, giving this team a chance throughout the week so we can have a chance to win on Sunday.”

But are the Cowboys really gonna pull a guy who’s led them to a seven-game winning streak? Hmm…. we’ll see.
