CARROLLTON, TX — Abracadabra! Prepare to be amazed. This week’s Subculture will leave you asking, “how did they do that?” The Dallas Magic Club has a few tricks up their sleeve, as magicians should.
“The Dallas Magic Club started in 1924 when Houdini came to the Texas State Fair to perform and we had formed a Club Assembly 13 for the Society of American Magicians and Houdini came to our meeting, signed our charter and that’s when we became official,” said Frank Seltzer.
The Dallas Magic Club meets at 7p.m. every third Tuesday of the month at the Theatre 166 in Carrollton, TX.
