Has plastic surgery completely lost its edge?

Kylie Jenner has fessed up to getting her lips plumped, and Iggy Azalea told Seventeen Magazine she got her boobs and nose done.

And you've probably heard of Botched. The show features people who got shoddy plastic surgery and are in dire need of damage control.

So why are more people openly sharing their silicone stories? Plastic Surgeon Anthony Youn told Yahoo he thinks it's been a gradual shift in our social fabric over the years.

First, there were the plastic surgery poster girls like Jone Rivers and Cher. Then in the early 2000's, there was the show "Extreme Makeover". Finally in 2002, Botox was dropped on the scene like a beauty bomb from Aphrodite herself.

The quick bacterial beautifucation is still giving people fresher-looking faces, all without you having to admit to actual surgery.

So if you're old enough to go under the knife, and you think the time is right, go for it!
