Philadelphia places 72 police officers on administrative leave due to social media posts

72 Philadelphia police officers were also laid off due to an investigation of their social accounts.

This is the latest fall out from a recent report from The Plain View Project earlier this month that released thousands of Facebook posts by current and former police officers that featured racist or violent content.

Philadelphia police are saying this is the largest removal of officers from the street in history.
