THE COLONY, TX-Friday night's Flower Mound boys basketball game looked a lot different than last week's. Remember those signs in the stands put together saying 'white power' during Flower Mound High School’s game against Plano East Senior High School?

Yeah, that set off the wrong message.

"It’s not who Flower Mound is and it’s not what we are known for. We’re known for our academics and our classiness, and that wasn't very classy of us," said one Flower Mound High School student.

Well, the racially charged signs caused an off-court investigation.

Lewisville ISD says it's a case of students behaving badly.

The sign switcheroo happened when students combined the Flower Mound “Navy and White” signs and the “Jaguar Power signs to read “White Power.”

On Friday, district officials shot out their own message, saying cheer signs are no longer allowed.

Friday night there were no signs, but lots of cheers --and the only fouls were left on the court.
