DALLAS, TX - Okay, ask the ladies and they'll likely tell you: no outfit is complete without a pair of sleek, stylish stilettos.

Heck, this is Big D after all, where the saying goes -- the higher the heel, the closer to God.

So, ladies, brace yourself for this bit of news -- not every place welcomes stilettos in the city.  Case in point: Klyde Warren Park.

But, let's just find our footing here - park peeps tell us they're not trying to be heels.  They just don't want heels in the kids area, and this has always been park policy.

Guess they won't be hosting any Stiletto Stampedes any time soon. The park says heels just cause too much damage to the soft surfaces of the kids area.

Okay, that makes sense.  But, perhaps what doesn't, is why anyone would want to wear stilettos to the park in the first place?
