CUPERTINO, CA -- Joining  #TeamiPhone can come with a lot of high-tech perks these days. But if you're not careful, your iPhone could cost you big bucks.

One family in Colorado claimed they got a phone bill for more than $2,000 when they normally pay about $250. So, what the heck caused the surprise total?  Well, it's a tool on the 9.1 IOS system or higher that can automatically turn on whenever you're getting a weak Wi-Fi signal.

But there's a simple solution to this iPhone problem. First, go to settings, click cellular, scroll to the bottom, and voila! You can turn off this money hungry feature.

On the other hand, your phone's software isn't the only thing you should be worried about! According to PhoneSoap, your cell phones carry 18 times more bacteria than a public restroom.

Gross!

Can someone hand us a Clorox wipe, please?!
