SEAGOVILLE — Seagoville Police are searching for a 12-year-old girl who’s been missing since Friday. Police say the child, Mariah Allen, reportedly never boarded her school bus on Friday morning.
Witnesses told police Allen dressed for school, in her school uniform, but was later spotted in her neighborhood, wearing street clothes. Allen was caught on surveillance video at an area convenience store. That store is located on the corner of S. Beltline Rd. and U.S. Hwy 175.
Police say the images, captured at 8:47 am, show Allen was alone and that she walked out the door solo, after making her purchase.
Allen’s family believes she may be with an older boy who police believe is a student at Spruce High School. Investigators have not yet been able to identify that young man.
Seagoville Police urge anyone with information to call the department.
