FAIR PARK -- It was a time when rock was king and music rolled the industry into a new era.

Million Dollar Quartet is the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical inspired by the true story of a recording session of four legendary musicians: Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash.

The show is set on December 4, 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis. It would go down as one of the greatest impromptu jam sessions in history, complete with a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on!

The show’s in town for one night only at Dallas Summer Musicals at Fair Park, and you just might catch a familiar face in the cast.

Arlington’s own Jody Alan Lee plays Jay Perkins and the bass in the show.

Million Dollar Quartet -- their iconic songs defined a generation and their music will rock Fair Park Music Hall Saturday night.
