Mavs Stay Alive; Beat Rockets 121-109!

DALLAS — They’re not dead yet, DFW! The Mavs put the Rockets’ brooms back in the closet and avoided the clean sweep, topping Houston 121-109. Monta Ellis led the way with 31 points, while JJ Barea made the most of his start at point guard, picking up 17 points and 13 assists.

Dallas trailed by as many as 12 in the first half before closing out the 2nd quarter on a 30-12 run, taking a 61-53 lead into the break.

With the series now at 3-1 the scene shifts back to Houston for Game 5 on Tuesday at 7:00 PM, where the Mavs will fight to live another day. No NBA team has ever come back to win a series after falling behind 3-0, but Dallas fans can keep clinging to hope! They’re team is a quarter of the way there, after all!
