McKINNEY, TX -- In case you may have forgotten, there's a little party happening next door in Louisiana -- Mardi Gras. It's a festive event where the booze flows, the beads fly, and some girls bear more than just their souls.

Closer to home in McKinney, Mardis Gras has gone to the dogs -- to the 'Krewe of Barkus,' specifically.

On Sunday, the pups hit the street for the 13th annual Barkus Parade and Festival. This year's theme: “Pooches in Paris.”
