KELLER, TX- Keller ISD is lightening the load for its high school students. The district is enforcing a ‘no bag’ policy for the last week of classes.

The district said the measure is an effort to reduce end-of-the-year pranks.

In 2012, the senior class at Keller High engaged in a ‘Hunger Games’ type prank. The result? A handful of students were banned from graduation ceremonies.

In addition to the bag ban, administrators have beefed up security.

“They waste a lot of school revenue by bringing guards and police to watch out at make sure it doesn’t happen,” a Keller student said.

It seems that Keller kids should be careful what they carry in the classroom. It might bag them serious consequences.
