AUGUSTA, GA — Hometown hero Jordan Spieth is tearing it up at the Masters!

He’s 14 under par after two days, which is the lowest score ever after 36 holes in this tournament! Needless to say, he’s got them excited over at his old school.

“Very exciting to watch, amazing golf, but not surprised in the last bit that he`s doing this!” said Cathy Marino, Jordan’s old high school golf coach at Jesuit College Preparatory School.

“Leading up to the Masters he was playing really well, so I had a good feeling about this tournament for him; and he`s just continuing to play well, which is really where it’s at when it comes to golf tournaments. If he just keeps playing his game and continues the good play that he`s been having, he`ll be in great shape.”

Jordan just missed the top prize at Augusta last year, tying for second.

But if he keeps up his torrid run, it`ll be hard for anyone to catch him, and this Dallas boy will be adding a green jacket to his wardrobe!
