CORINTH, Texas — You know traffic’s bad when people are parked on the highway, get out of their cars and sit on the hood. That’s exactly what happened on I-35E in Corinth Tuesday afternoon.

Lanes in both directions were shut down for hours after two 18-wheelers and several other vehicles collided, sparking a fireball near Corinth Pkwy.

Amazingly, no reports of any serious injuries.

Despite the ugly traffic mess, a beautiful gesture. Corinth PD says it received an outpouring of support from locals who brought out bottled water to stranded drivers.

No word just yet on what exactly caused the crash.
