DALLAS — In the competitive world of music, not everyone is able to claim a legend as their leader. So, for singers Chloe X Halle being crowned Beyonce’s protegees is quite a dream come true.

“It’s so surreal to us and we’re so excited that we have a great role model to look up to and someone there to guide us along,” Halle told NewsFix in an exclusive interview.

At just 16 and 18 years old, these sisters have toured, sipped lemonade and signed with the Queen Bey herself! But success didn’t happen overnight.

In fact, it all started three years ago with a passion, support team and YouTube.

“We really just loved the song Best Thing I Never Had by Beyonce and we were like ‘lets sing it,’ explained Halle.  “Our older sister help film it and we just posted it and I remember the first 100 views!”

Those 100 views turned into millions, so the sisters kept the music coming! It was their cover of Bey’s Pretty Hurts that landed them a deal with her label, Parkwood Entertainment.

“She ended up seeing that cover and that’s what got us here today,” Halle added.

Today, these two songbirds are making their mark in the music industry. People magazine listed them as “Ones to Watch” in 2016 and they’ve been invited by the FLOTUS to sing songs of charity.

Tuesday night, they’re rocking the stage live at the House of Blues– which the girls describe as a moving experience for their fans.

“Expect high energy and a really fun show! A little dancing and moving around, we love to see people having fun in the audience,” Chloe added.

Although Chloe X Halle are mostly known for their covers, they’re excited to introduce the world to their own music. Starting with their recently released EP, Sugar Symphony.

“It’s a very exciting and liberating time for us we love the beautiful sweet harmonies and we also love the really hard beats from it,” Chloe explained.

Well, if this is what the next generation of music sounds like– we’re all ears!
