HOUSTON — Paul Wall, the Houston rapper everyone knows and loves, got arrested in a drug raid Friday morning.

#FreePaulWall started trending online for a hot minute, but it wasn’t long before the H-Town figure got out on bond.

Damn, looks like Paul Wall and fellow rapper Baby Bash got caught slippin’. According to the Harris County District Clerk, the rappers were charged with “manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance.”

TMZ says the duo and eight others were taken into custody while cops were carrying out a search warrant.

This situation is all too familiar for the partners in crime. Back in 2011, a photo of Paul Wall and Baby Bash getting arrested for pot possession in El Paso blew up online.

Paul Wall’s agent issued the following statement, “Paul Wall is innocent until proven guilty. It is early in this case. We are confident that after a thorough investigation of these allegations… I will fight vigorously to defend my client.”
