LOS ANGELES –This story is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Crews are trying to figure out how a Los Angeles Zoo employee fell 20 feet into a gorilla enclousre, setting off a dramatic rescue.
Dozens of firefighters went ape rushing to the scene. They used a ladder and a rope system to pull the 61-year-old man up to safety.
According to KTLA, he suffered a fractured femur in the fall… but amazingly, he’s expected to be just fine.
And lucky for him, those gorillas were secured at the time.
