WASHINGTON, D.C. - When it comes to the issue of global warming there`s plenty of disagreement, like what to even call it? Is it Global Warming or is it Climate Change?

Either way there`s now even more fuel to add to the Global Warming/Climate Change fire. That`s because emails show that scientists may have lied.

Those emails gathered by`s Steve Milloy appear to show Harvard and Syracuse University professors involved with the environmental protection agency. The problem is that it was supposed to be an “independent” study.

The scientists have insisted that a recent study which claims that thousands of lives will be saved under the Obama Administration`s regulations on carbon dioxide was done without the EPA`s involvement.

The study was released in May and supported the EPA`s Clean Power Plan. Scientists concluded that the plan would prevent over 3,000 deaths a year.

Milloy also discovered that the authors of the study had received or were linked to at least 45 million of EPA research grants, not exactly chump change. So far the EPA's not talking.

Maybe somebody may need to fess up. So when it comes to climate change studies here's a global warning; proceed with caution.
