EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — Crisis means nothing to Dez Bryant, who delivered a powerful message after the game the Cowboys fourth straight loss Sunday.
“It’s not over. We still gonna run the East,” Dez told fans.
Matt Cassel and The Cowboys took the field against the Giants Sunday, trying to snap a three-game losing streak and stay afloat in the NFC East.
Well, with a new QB at the helm, the result was still the same. No Romo = No Win. New York topped Dallas 27-20, sending the Boys to their fourth straight loss and a 2-4 record.
Dallas led 13-7 late in the second quarter but saw their lead evaporate thanks to three Cassel interceptions on three consecutive drives, one of which was returned for a touchdown.
Cassel rallied and tied the game on a brilliant touchdown toss to Devin Street, but former Cowboy Dwayne Harris gave the Giants the lead right back on a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The Cowboys would see their last chance to comeback thwarted when Cole Beasley muffed a punt with less than two minutes to play, handing the Giants their fourth turnover of the game and the win.
Dallas now sets their sights on Seattle (3-4) who come to town next Sunday, as they try to find some way to resuscitate this season in crisis.
