Berkeley, California city leaders voted to require medical marijuana dispensaries to provide free weed to low income residents… including the homeless.
We must ask, do they really think it’s a good idea to give free cannabis to the homeless?
“When you couch it that way it sounds peculiar, but we’re talking about free medicine,” said council member Darryl Moore. “This is medical cannabis that is used to relieve pain for glaucoma and heart problems and things of that nature so I think it is a good idea.”
He’s all about compassion, while others are calling it downright crazy!
The new rule also says the free marijuana must be the good stuff– no different from what the dispensary sells to their regular customers.
