DALLAS--Even when most of us are eating, watching football, and most importantly, not* working, we still need to know, if something bad happens someone's got our backs.

"In the fire department, it's just another day," firefighter/paramedic Josh Mihalyi said. "Fires still happen. Emergencies still happen."

That's where the crew at Dallas Fire Station No. 11 comes in. They're ready to jump into action at a moment's notice.

Their neighbors over at the Melrose Warwick sent a Thanksgiving spread for the firefighters.

We asked if the team would get to watch football.

"Hopefully,"Mihalyi said. "As long as the bell stays silent."

As if on cue, the bell sounded, sending these heroes out to help someone in need. Dinner had to wait.

Still, while these first responders watch our backs, it's good to know. somebody's got their* backs.
