BENBROOK, Texas -- The mother of two slain daughters has now been charged with their murders.

Commander David Babcock of Benbrook PD made it official during Monday’s press conference, “Earlier this afternoon the Benbrook police department served two warrants of arrest on Sofya Tsygankova for the charge of capital murder of a person under 10 years of age.”

The kids -- ages 1 and 5 -- were found dead inside the family's Benbrook home by their father, world renowned pianist Vadym Kholodenko. The 31-year-old mother was also found inside the house with stab wounds.

Police now say those wounds were self-inflicted.

Tsygankova is currently receiving treatment for the wounds at John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth where she's also undergoing a mental evaluation.

Once released, police say she will be taken to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department where she'll be held on $2 million bond.

Tsygankova and Kholodenko have been in the middle of a divorce. As of now, police have yet to release how the two girls died.
