CUPERTINO, CA -- It seems like just yesterday when Snapchat was the favorite app among the cool kids, but it turns out, teens are spending less time making faces in order to face the music.

The new app taking social media by storm is called musical.ly. It allows users, or “musers,” to create and share 15-second music videos of their favorite songs.

After lip-synching to their video musers can add filters, change the speed and even playback the video in reverse. The app has become so popular it now holds the number one spot on the iTunes app store in 19 countries.

If you're feeling musical.ly inclined, you're only a download away from living out your music video dreams.
