ROYSE CITY, TX - From being the man behind posting horrific pics of dead dogs, to being behind bars, one former Union Valley firefighters is feeling the heat.

20-year-old Tim Conatser of Royse City was booked in the Hunt County Jail Wednesday on two counts of animal cruelty after allegedly shooting and killing his neighbor’s dogs for coming onto his property.

You may remember the social media controversy that sparked last week after Conatser posted this photo on Facebook with the caption: “Keep your damn dogs on your own property.”

Well, folks weren’t feeling that post at all. And after an investigation, it seems Texas law agrees.

As a result of the viral explosion, the Union Valley fire department fired Conatser.

When will folks learn you’re barking up the wrong tree when you mix hurting animals and the Internet.
