NEW YORK CITY, NY — Call it the attack of the killer drone — okay, so maybe that’s a bit over-the-top. But, one drone did do some damage to an unsuspecting victim.

Yeah, the TGI Fridays mobile mistletoe wasn’t so merry at the restaurant in Sheepshead Bay, New York. Instead of coaxing a Christmas kiss, one woman got scrooged with a nick.

Get a load of this – the woman, a photographer with Courier Life, was at the restaurant covering the jolly drone when the craft went rogue, and one of the blades snipped a tip off her nose. Take a look at the damage – ouch.

Well, the drone operator says he was in the process of landing the craft when the accident happened, adding it was the woman’s fault for flinching.
Wow, how’s that for customer service?

Even Fridays chimed in and basically dismissed the incident involving the sprig-rigged drone, saying there were no casualties in either accident in Long Island or Texas.

Wait, there was an incident in Texas?

Hmmm…okay folks, you’ve been warned – if you find yourself at a TGI Fridays, maybe you should head for cover, if the drone starts to hover.
