PITTSBURGH -- Uh, either Donald Trump doesn't know or it slipped his mind that former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno died!
He confused the heck out of a crowd of supporters in Pittsburgh Wednesday when he asked, "How's Joe Paterno? We gonna bring that back?"
Cue the crickets.
Paterno died in 2012.
Bring Paterno back? @realdonaldtrump has odd expectations of his abilities, and responsibilities, as president.

It seemed like Trump only remembered that Paterno was fired, not that he died.

Maybe he's not as dumb as we think. Maybe, just maybe, he was referring to the university removing Paterno's statue...
Congrats, Pitt fans. If I understand Trump, your campus will get the Paterno statue.

Not only did Trump reference Paterno, who is dead, he did it in Pittsburgh, which is the home of.....Pitt.
