TORONTO, CANADA — Toronto’s crack-smoking Mayor is withdrawing from a re-election bid in the upcoming mayoral race. Doug Ford is running for mayor in his brother’s place.

Rob Ford  is being treated for an abdominal tumor. Doctors have not said if it is malignant.

Ford just finished rehab about three months ago. The city council stripped him of most of his powers after a video surfaced in May 2013, appearing to show Ford smoking crack cocaine.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford now has a new fight on his hands: a tumor. Doctors discovered the abdominal tumor after he was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday.
